On Trial: Harry’s

One of the best feelings in the world is a nice fresh, clean shave in the morning. It makes you feel like you can tackle the world and any problems it intends to throw your way that day. The only problem with shaving – it can be pretty frustrating.

Before you get to the hassle of shaving burn, or being in a rush and cutting your face before an important meeting, we’ve all been in the situation in which you wake up to find your blades are blunt, or you’ve run out of cream, meaning you can’t have that all important shave first thing in the morning.

Knowing that this problem exists for so many people, shaving brand Harry’s has come to our rescue!

Offering a free trial to begin with, Harry’s provide you with a high quality razor handle, a set of blades, a cover and shaving foam all for only £2.95 to cover the delivery costs. From this point you’re asked a series of questions about your shaving habits, including how often you shave and which products you prefer.

When my trial box arrived I was incredibly impressed with the quality of the products. I’ve received free trials in the past, and based on them being free trials, they’re usually of a certain quality, with the brand opting to leave the higher quality products for full purchasing customers. With Harry’s this simply isn’t the case. As a trial customer you receive ‘The Truman’ handle, designed with a rubberised matte exterior and packed with great weight, which is really important to getting a good shave!

The blades that come with the handle are also of great quality. With 5 blades per head and an incredible little precision trimmer on top for extra precision on the sideburns and other hard to reach places, the blades really get a great close shave. The lubricating strip is really great paired with the shaving gel provided, both helping to prevent the dreaded shaving rash.

The subscription post-trial is also very well priced, and completely down to you in terms of how much you spend and receive. You just let Harry’s know how often you need a resupply, ranging from every month to every six, and what you’re going to need and they’ll charge your card and ship it directly to your door. It’s that simple. You set it up and you can forget all about it until it drops through your letterbox.

As someone who usually doesn’t like subscription based products, I must say I was hugely surprised by Harry’s products. I cannot recommend them enough for anyone who enjoys a great shave to start the day, or even just an occasional tidy up around a beard.

If you’d like to try the trial for yourself, or perhaps even subscribe to their service, then head over to Harry’s for more information.
