September Playlist

That’s it guys, summer is done, gone, finito! Although it seems like it only started a few weeks ago, we’re now facing the start of a new season shortly. It’s time for everything to change. Style changes from lighter clothes and shorts to layers, food changes from salads, summer fruits and grills to more hearty and warming dishes, music transitions from the tropical sounds of the summer to the more embracing sounds of the autumn and winter ahead.

This month’s playlist is very production heavy, featuring the likes of Dyalla, Andrew Applepie and Floppy Circus, with a few vocal tracks from the incredible Obongjayar and also Mick Jenkins. There’s a strong raspy, gritty sound throughout this playlist, which for me reflects this time of year perfectly. The sun is still shining through occasionally, but there’s a chill in the air. This month’s playlist is still happy and smiling, but slightly more gritty sounding than that of an all summer playlist.

What do you guys think of this month’s playlist? Like it? Think I missed something? Tweet me @AlexPotton_ and let me know what you think!
