June ’18 Playlist

June 2018

This month’s playlist has been fun to curate, music has been exciting throughout May. Pusha T dropped his long awaited Kanye West produced ‘Daytona‘, Childish Gambino released his politically charged ‘This is America‘, ASAP Rocky finally finished ‘Testing‘, and Izzie Gibbs delivered ‘96LS‘. J Hus even managed to sneak in a new EP ‘Big Spang‘ right at the close of the month.

Summer is about to get cooking, with a whole tonne of upcoming projects from the headline names, and festival season getting ready to kick off.

Many artists are sharpening their tools, including some in this list, and getting ready to make the transition from being a name known in their respective scenes, to being household names. Take the likes of Ché Lingo, who recently released his latest track ‘Feet Your Feelings‘, produced by previous Kendrick Lamar collaborator Like. A funky, feel-good anthem, guaranteed to get both you and your mum dancing.

Take a listen to the playlist in full below.

So, what did you think? Are you feeling this month’s playlist, or did I miss off some tracks that you thought were deserving? Let me know in the comments, or get at me on Twitter:@AlexPotton_
