MAD ANGLE

Fresh off the back of his most recent EP ‘Charisma‘, and a whole batch of live shows, Ché Lingo isn’t looking to slow down anytime soon. With consistency being his key, he’s already lining up EP number 2 of the year, ‘Sensitive‘.

The first taste of what to expect from that EP comes in the form of the latest release, Mad Angle. Premiered last night on DJ Target’s radio show as part of his #TARGOEMBARGO, the track is an ode to transparency and communication in relationships.

“Bad temper cause you had a bad day, communicating all your feelings with me in a mad way, nah babe, I ain’t a punching bag for you to come and take a jab at…”

Ché has always displayed his ability and strength in being able to openly discuss emotional topics in his music. He’s not one to shy away from what others may avoid, in order to keep up a persona. Whether on tracks such as ‘Letter To a Dealer‘ on his ‘Charisma‘ EP, or this latest track, we’ve all come to expect nothing but his honesty in his music, and that’s something that as a listener, is incredibly respectable.

Produced by Smooth Blaq, the song is a reminder that we all experience relationship highs and lows. It also features one of my favourite bars of the year – which I can’t lie, gassed me when I clocked the wordplay.

“Let’s talk about it over some Barefoot, wine all you want, or I could just ten toes.”

Make sure you support Ché by streaming the track below. The latest EP ‘Sensitive‘ releases July 14th.
