Kadiata is an interesting artist, both production wise and lyrically. Often demonstrating his ability to fuse sounds together effortlessly, he’s released banger after banger in the last year or so.
From ‘Art Hoes’ – where he infamously had girls twerking in the Tate Gallery in the visuals – to ‘Goodnight’ as performed on the COLOURS show, Kadiata can often take heavier, drum packed beats, more typical with ‘ignorant trap music‘ and lay over flows and vocals which turn them into anthems for everyone.
I first heard his latest release ‘On Tap’ at a performance at the Royal Albert Hall, though the official release of the track was premiered on DJ Target’s 1XTRA show as part of his #TargoEmbargo. Whilst talking on the show, Kadiata expressed that plenty of new music is on it’s way, along with a visual for this latest release.
‘On Tap’ is most definitely a summer banger, featuring a smooth production which Kadiata flows over with a completely relaxed effortlessness.
