Frisco – Good Feeling

Boy Better Know’s Frisco recently released his latest number in a well established series of projects – ‘Back 2 Da Lab Vol. 5’ – to an incredible reception. Now, a short while later, Frisco has released the visuals to one of my personal favourites from that project.

The visuals to ‘Good Feeling‘ were premiered on GRM Daily are directed by Chas Appeti, featuring a whole slew of special effects ranging from game effects and white noise, to floating heads, and shot in what appears to be London’s Barbican.

It’s not the first time we’ve heard the track outside of the realms of the album itself, as Frisco recently performed it for Tim & Barry TV’ for their ‘No Miming‘ series. The track sounds and feels like a classic Frisco track, in which he’s able to find pockets to deliver his signature flow, but with a nice edge and twist. With references back to past music, Frisco delivers a strong, well-rounded package over the clangy beat.

With a headline show at Omeara (click for tickets) just around the corner, Frisco continues to show us why he’s one of Grime’s best to ever do it.

‘Back 2 Da Lab Vol. 5’ is available on Spotify and Apple now. Tickets to Frisco’s July 31st headline show at Omeara are available now.
