Skepta & Dizzee Link For ‘Money Right’

Skepta & Dizzee are both pioneers in their own right. After years of comfortably controlling their own lanes and dominating the scene, they’ve linked up for a new banger, which is set to only add another notch to their lengthy belts.

Sampling the legendary Jungle track ‘Terrorist’ by Renegade – ‘Money Right’ is taken from Dizzee Rascal’s forthcoming Don’t Gas Me EP.

With Skepta penning a hard-hitting hook —“You throw a penny up the wall / Pick the money up off the floor / You grip it – you flip it / Tell the plug you need some more / Second time – tonight / Tell him you need a better price / He said the weight is heavy / Tell him you need the exercise”  – Both Dizzee and Skepta bounce off of each others energy perfectly.

It’s one of those tracks that will have crowds roaring it back to the stage if/when they’re able to link up for a live performance. Skepta’s energy here reminds me of his energy on ‘It Ain’t Safe’ – a swaggering track dominance.

After Rascal’s incredible Raskit, it’s exciting to see that a new EP is on the way. Features from P Money & C Cane are to be expected, yet no release date has been confirmed.
