Ché Lingo – Circles

Anyone who knows me, or anyone who reads this blog knows how much I vouch for Ché Lingo. Whether in my monthly playlist, or whether I’m covering his sold-out headline shows or incredible new projects, he makes frequent appearances on this blog.

His latest single ‘Circles’ is a completely different and fresh approach from Ché. Kadiata has helped bring a completely different production style to what listeners are used to with Ché’s sound, which is refreshing to hear. It’s bubbly and fresh, with an element of funk which allows for soft, smooth vocals.

I first heard the track performed live at Ché’s sold-out headline show at London’s OMEARA in September. As he told the audience that the music we were going to hear throughout the night was all about him unlearning certain traits about himself and tackling toxic masculinity head on, Ché releases ‘Circles’ with the message that with the release comes a new day of sensitivity within his sound.

It’s a new chapter all-in-all for Ché as we all await to see what’s coming next from the man who keeps improving and progressing. You can hear the desire to explore new avenues in this track in how he has approached the overall sound. With a mellow, melodic hook, and softly sung verse, there’s a weight and emphasis behind the track. A purpose; music with meaning and feeling.

I’m excited to see where he takes this exploration of sensitivity, and I know his supporters won’t be disappointed.

‘Circles’ by Ché Lingo is available now on all major platforms
